Villa Party and Event Host Terms

If you host a villa party or an event through KAA, you are the organiser. KAA only helps members find it and RSVP. You accept these terms when you send a party or an event.

Approval

Every party is reviewed by our team before it appears. We may decline or remove any party.

What you must give

An accurate title, date, start and end time, area, capacity, the exact address and a way to reach you. The address and contact are hidden from everyone except members confirmed as going. If you approve guests, only members you approved.

You may add a dress code, the vibe, a lineup and a link to your Instagram or event page. Everyone who sees the party sees them, so the address must not be in them either. For a public event at a venue, the venue and its address are shown to every member.

Do not put the address anywhere public. Not in the title, description or photos. That defeats the protection your guests rely on.

Guest approval

You can choose to approve each guest. Members then ask to join, you see their first name and photo, and only members you approve join the guest list and see the address and your contact. A member you decline is not told and cannot ask again. Do not decline guests for reasons the Community Guidelines forbid.

Entry price

If entry is paid, state the price in the form. It is shown to members in the island's currency. Nothing is sold in KAA: guests pay you directly. KAA takes no part in the payment. You must not charge more than the price you stated.

Capacity

You set the maximum number of guests, and you count as one of them. When the party is full, new members can only mark Maybe.

You are responsible for having the right to use the venue, following the local law (in Thailand, Thai law, including noise, alcohol, licensing and drug laws), the safety of the space, and treating guests fairly. You must not charge more than the entry fee you stated.

Changes and cancellation

You cannot change a party after approval; cancel it and submit a new one. When you cancel, every member who is going or on Maybe is notified in the app, unless they turned off villa party updates.

Sharing

Members can share a link to your party. People who are not members see only "Villa party", the date and the island. Your party's name, photo, your name, the area and the address stay inside KAA.

If you delete your account

Parties you were about to host are cancelled, and your guests and members waiting for your answer are told. The address, the pin, your contact detail and your name are removed from every party and event you hosted. Past ones stay as history with no host and no address.

Guests' data

You will see the first names and photos of your guests. Use them only to run the party. Do not add guests to other lists or contact them for anything else.

Liability

KAA is not the organiser and is not responsible for what happens at your party. You agree to cover claims that arise from your party, to the extent the law allows.
